Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, located on the border between the United States and Canada, is one of the most famous and spectacular natural wonders in the world. The falls are actually made up of three separate waterfalls: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are located on the American side, in Niagara Falls, New York.

The Adams Power Plant Transformer House, completed in 1895, was the first large-scale AC power plant in the world.

In 1885, New York established the Niagara Reservation, now known as Niagara Falls State Park, as the first state park in the United States.
