Filderstadt

Filderstadt is a town located in the district of Esslingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was formed in 1975 through the merger of five smaller communities: Bernhausen, Bonlanden, Plattenhardt, Sielmingen, and Harthausen. Due to this relatively recent formation, its history is closely linked with that of these individual villages, which have much older origins.
